This website will be a source of information for the care, restoration and maintenance of the metric motorcycles.

My name is Ross Davis and I have been an enthusiast for a good many years (over 35 actually). I started with a 1965 Superhawk Honda I bought in pieces. And with a desire to learn proper care for it I became involved in the industry.

That involvement started in a shop doing whatever it took to get near any information about motorcycles and evolved to an instructor training technicians at a training center recognized by the largest metric manufacturer of motorcycles in the world. I consider myself a lucky and fortunate individual who has paid his dues to get where I am.

I am proud to say I have owned a variety of vintage bikes that have accumulated many miles and many trophies. At one time I had 28 motorcycles and through the years I have enjoyed ownership of all popular brands.

This site will post some solutions to questions you may have about metric motorcycles concerning care, restoration and maintenance. It is my hope these solutions are for the rider & wrench alike to help them find some common ground.

After the Riding Into History concourse this year a young man Paul Snoddy called me to ask about a CB77 that his grandfather had given him. It needed some work so I told him to bring it to me and I will get it repaired. I gave him an idea of what he was looking at initially and he brought it over. When I got a first hand look at it I started noticing other things and we talked about an hour. He agreed to the advise I gave him and we proceeded with a restoration of the CB77. About 4 weeks later his CB77 was running well and he was happy that his grandfather's/his CB77 had been revived.
